Covid-19 Recovery: The Infrastructure Perspective

VSNW are pleased to present the second event in our Festival of North West Thinking 2020 (FoNWT), Covid-19 Recovery: The Infrastructure Perspective. The event will bring infrastructure organisations together to discuss how the sector should approach Covid-19 Recovery.

The event will take place online from 2:00pm to 3:30pm on Wednesday 28th October.

This event is intended for our colleagues at VCSE sector infrastructure organisations and equalities networks across the North West. It’s an opportunity for us to bring together our different perspectives from across the region, identify the salient issues the sector’s infrastructure bodies are confronting, and to coordinate and synergise our response.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from a panel comprised of leaders from infrastructure organisations from across all five sub-regions of the North West. Attendees will also have the chance to get involved in the conversation via an extended Q&A session. Already confirm for the panel are:

• Caroline Whitney - CVS Cheshire East

• Lorrainne Smyth - ACTthe rural and community development charity for Cumbria

• Naz Zaman - Lancashire BME Network

Representatives for the Liverpool City Region and Greater Manchester will be confirmed shortly.

Discussions at this event will additionally be informed both by the issues raised in our workshops sessions at the opening event in our FoNWT and by the responses to VSNW’s FoNWT survey. Please consider attending this event and completing this survey if you’d like to have your say.

This event will be hosted on Zoom and a link will be sent out the day before. If you’re unsure how to access meetings via Zoom, please see this quick start guide.

Please note that due to limited numbers, we may limit attendance to one person per organisation. Please coordinate within your organisation if possible, otherwise we may contact you to ask you to nominate the preferred attendee.
